Getting started with CatGenie is as simple as a quick, do-it-yourself setup.
Installation is fast and easy and no plumber is needed for most users.
Simply connect your CatGenie to power, water supply and waste drainage. That's it!
Where Does CatGenie Go?
A CatGenie unit can be hooked up in any room that has a water supply, waste drainage and an electric outlet. You can choose a Bathroom, Laundry Room or Utility Room – whichever one works best for you and your cat!

How Does CatGenie Work In The Bathroom?
In the bathroom, the CatGenie shares a cold water supply line with your toilet or sink. Simply use the included t-adapter to redirect water to your CatGenie.
Note: If the water line is a rigid pipe, replace with a flexible water pipe (available at any hardware store.)
You will need a wrench for bathroom installation.
We Provide the Connector.
The CatGenie will come with the T-adapter you'll need to run the unit in the bathroom.
The CatGenie Waste Line Drains Into The Toilet.
The CatGenie includes a drain hook that hooks onto the toilet bowl. All waste and water will drain into the toilet bowl and you'll simply flush away at your convenience.
How Does CatGenie Work In The Laundry Room?
In your laundry room, CatGenie shares the cold water supply line and waste drainage with your washing machine. Simply use the included t-adapter to redirect water to your CatGenie.
The CatGenie and Washer share the waste pipe.
The CatGenie's drain hose goes into the laundry room drain pipe along with your washer's drain hose.
