Can I refill the SaniSolution 120 Cartridge?
No, the 120 Cartridge is not refillable. Veterinarians helped develop the special, cat-safe SaniSolution formula, which has been thoroughly tested. The Cartridge dispenses the exact, amount of solution both for the safety of the cat and the proper running of the CatGenie. The 120 Cartridge is tamper proof so untested or unsafe solutions cannot be substituted.

How long will the SaniSolution last?
You can run the CatGenie 120 times before the SaniSolution Cartridge runs out. On Cat Activation, you will get 240 washes. When it gets down to 10 washes, the Cartridge LED lights to remind you to get a new Cartridge. When three washes remain, the Cartridge lights and a beep sounds.  The CatGenie 120 only operates with a SaniSolution 120 Cartridge. Make sure that you always have an extra Cartridge because the CatGenie 120 only runs with a 120 Cartridge.

How many times a day should I run the CatGenie?
Run at least one cycle for each cat using the CatGenie. Run the CatGenie at least once every day even if you don’t see waste in the box.

Is the 120 Cartridge Biodegradable or Recyclable?
Yes. The 120 Cartridges are both Biodegradable and Recyclable. Unlike 99% of plastics, which last from 500 years to forever, the 120 Cartridges have an additive that enables the plastic to biodegrade in less than a decade. And the plastic can be recycled.
