We bought the Cat Genie after we couldn't get our cat to use the Litter Robot. He did not like the Litter Robot because it was enclosed. He is used to an open litter box. I love how the CatGenie is cleaned and the fat that it freshens up in a matter of minutes. Ours is in the laundry room - we just have to make sure the door is closed to avoid the smell that emanates when the Genie does it's magic. I would recommend it to any cat owner.

I would HIGHLY recommend CatGenie to anyone and everyone; especially those who are immun-compromised or pregnant women. The product is FANTASTIC, the customer service is AWESOME and I'm so glad I took the chance and purchased CatGenie after months of watching for sale price and/or looking for referrals from others.

I just purchased the mats that go with CatGenie so the crystals get tracked On the silly side of feline behavior - Sanderella (my Siamese) wants me to run it all the time every time she gets in the box (and sometimes she even fakes it) and as soon as it starts ~ she attacks it. She likes to swat at the scooper, then she gets paws up on the toilet to watch her waste drain into the bowl. Her latest display of love for her CatGenie is now that it's cold I find her laying in the crystals when the dry cycle comes on. The unit stops...she hasn't figured that one out yet.

CATGENIE IS WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

I have 3 cats who seem to have broken the cat code. They all drink from the same water and use one litter box.

As directed, I left their old litter box close to the CatGenie. On the second day, they still had not gotten into the CatGenie. I cleaned out the old box and placed some of the CatGenie pellets into the old box. The next morning, I found a small deposit in the old box. They had held themselves for two days until they were sure that the Genie was for them. Initially the washing noise bothered them, but now my large male will sit on the sink and watch the CatGenie in action.

Thank you for developing this ingenious machine which has relieved me of the daily cleaning and weekly renewal of litter.

Steve in California had trouble with a CatGenie (a packaging problem, since solved, caused the base to warp). Gigi, our Customer Support Manager sent a new one. Here’s his comment.

Hi Gigi,

I did hook up the replacement last night and ran a test run…and, of course, you were EXACTLY right – it ran like a charm. It also ran strong and solid – not at all like the other one that seemed to need a manual push 3 or 4 times per revolution.

Most importantly, I really need to compliment you on your people skills. When I was sooo frustrated you were calm, cool and collected and you never made me feel like I was putting you out. Additionally, in a world that is usually apathetic to your needs once they have your money you were better than perfect – I don’t think my own Mom would have been more responsive!! I mean, offering to come in an hour early or to stay at work 3 HOURS LATE in order to accommodate me on ‘West Coast’ time – THAT’S PAST EXCELLENT!! A working example of World-Class Service!!! If it would benefit you or the company I’m happy to spread my opinion around the internet, just let me know! Please, also let me know some good places besides the Automatic Litterbox Central and if you want me to mention or highlight anything in particular.

I decided to bite the bullet and buy a CatGenie when I found out I was pregnant last April. We have two cats and I knew since I couldn't empty the litter box, that it was going to be a nightmare to rely on my "other half" to do it! I have to say, it has absolutely been the best purchase I have ever made! It is so nice to have a clean litter box twice a day and the cats love it! The only thing that tends to be bothersome is the litter granules that the cats track out of the box on the mats, which then show up all over the house, but it's well worth it considering the time and money that is saved on this amazing invention! And I love to share this story with others that I know that have cats (even folks who don't own cats)!! THANKS CATGENIE!!
