CatGenie is hands down the best "litter box" ever sold. I've had mine for nearly a year now, and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. I've seen people complain about the price, but it's worth every penny. It may take a while for your cat(s) to get used to it, but don't give up on the CatGenie if they are a bit stubborn. A few accidents in the beginning are well worth the end result. The CatGenie is a little on the loud side; however, I don't thing it's possible for such a mechanical device that is doing such tasks to be any less noisy. Plus you know it's working. My CatGenie is hooked up in the laundry room and both my cat's are shorthaired. It has run flawlessly, and I am thrilled that I purchased it.

The CatGenie is by far the most amazing investment I have made for my cat. J-Dawg LOVES the CatGenie! She loves having a clean box all the time. And I LOVE not having to smell a stinky cat box or having to look at a dirty cat box or having to empty a dirty cat box. Seriously! This product is amazing! We have had our CatGenie for over a year now. I have never had any problems with it. The only opportunity for improvement would be the scattered litter... but that was a problem with our old cat box too. So I just ordered a 3-pack of Genie mats. CatGenie... you seriously RAWK!!! And now that I know, I would never have a cat without one.

I knew this could be done, I just can't believe it took so long. It was definitely worth the wait. When we ordered our CatGenie, the instructions said to gradually move the old box out and replace with the cat genie. Well, our CatGenie showed up, while we were putting it together our cats were already getting in it.
After hooking it up, and placing the granules in, our cats were hooked. They did their business and watched as CatGenie did its job. Our cats love their new "Tim Allen Litter Box". That is how we describe our CatGenie to friends and family. And we have given many presentations in our home due to curious cat lovers that just hate their litter boxes. I tell people I don't have a litter box anymore: we have a CatGenie.
Our house smells wonderful now and people are surprised we have cats. The price was well worth it, no more backache from bending over and scooping, no more clumping mess and litter all over the floor. Thank you so much for this wonderful invention. I knew it could be done.

Rob makes a point about SaniSolution and Washable Granules which have an annual cost about the same as cat litter and litterbox cleaning products.

I received my CatGenie in early December and I am very happy with it. I have experienced a couple of problems with the GenieHand not extending low enough while drying. I understand that there may be some issues with such a mechanically complicated product but the excellent customer service made the process painless.
I had 2 cats (15 year old male and 18 month old female) when I received my CatGenie and both cats adapted instantly since my old litter box was in the place where I installed my CatGenie. I adopted a kitten (5 month old male) last week and he adapted right away, too. All 3 cats are using the CatGenie consistently. Please let me know if you ever need help testing future products and Ill be happy to help.
I think that the cost of consumables (SaniSolution and Granules) is in line with the cost of the product. Some people are moaning in forums about the costs. It seems silly to me that anyone who spends $300 on a litter box would complain about the consumables to keep it running cleanly.

I have tried all kinds of cat boxes over the years and none of them could even compare to the CatGenie!! This glorious piece of machinery is amazing with a customer service department to match. The machine works great - I have had one for over a year now and it still works perfectly. Customer service is always courteous and informed to answer any questions you many have. I have an illness that prevents me from being able to come in contact with cat boxes - this fine equipment takes responsibility and I don't have to worry about a thing!! I highly recommend this product. It is great!
