Some say this is an expensive litter box. However my two cats and regular litter I actually estimated they use about $480 on litter alone of offbrand. When I went to the CatGenie the first year yes I maybe spent a little more (but not much more and I got the 120 it included a few goodies) the granules last long like they say. Then the next year I maybe spent roughly $300 all together for the full year! Price AWESOME, Value - GREAT and Quality - Definitely amazing! The cats took a few days to get used to it but they figured out quickly after they did there business it would cycle and FRESH SCENT is worth it! I love that smell after all clean and done. This is worth every penny. If you dont have money now. Do what I did... USE your Tax Return for it SAVE SAVE SAVE! Dont touch kitty gifts again :D

The product works great - we love the box and not having to scoop litter anymore. Just remember though - have an extra cartridge on hand AT ALL TIMES. Because once it runs out, and starts beeping, you have about a day before it just doesn't clean itself until a new cartridge is in place. So always be prepared. Our fault entirely - but we don't want anyone else to have to go through it.

We have two large cats. We had to buy a second cat genie, because our boy's insist on toileting at the same time! This caused some turmoil at the beginning, but it's working great now. Very happy with the genie's. People are amazed and we highly recommend! We have them both set up in the laundry room and it works perfectly! Great product!

I bought my Cat Genie over a year ago. Since I purchased the Cat Genie, I have saved hundreds of dollars in litter boxes, cat litter, and supplies.
This product is everything it advertises and more. Customer support is wonderful, and you'd never know I owned two cats until they meet you at the door!

I bought my Cat Genie back in January 2011. Best decision I have ever made for my family and my cats. I was always skeptical about products like these, they almost seem too good to be true. I found for once that it actually works as advertised. My cats love it, my family loves it. If you are on the fence about buying this, the time is now, you will not be sorry you did. I tell every person I see with a cat about it. It makes "taking care of the cat box" a matter of swapping a cartridge every now and again, and keeping the granules up to level. Couldn't ask for a simpler solution! Excellent product guys!

I first thought the price was high but after setting up our new CatGenie 120 in July 2011, and using it with two cats. It is worth the price that we paid. It did take one of our cats awhile to get use of using the new litterbox, but they both love it. My kids are very excited to one less chore for them to do.

I was so pleased with the materials and quality of the Cat Genie this product is NOT junk like so many other diappointing products that are out there. The bowl was actually larger than expected. I'm still in the process of introducing it to my cats. I read some of the wonderful suggestions. One of my cats has used it already. I like the idea of being able to turn it off until the other cats get used to it. But, I'm sure it won't take long before all cats are on board. Then I can put it on automatic sensor mode. Thank you for building such a great quality machine.
