Value Quality Price The Maintenance Cartridges makes the maintenance on the catgenie a lot better. I can tell when I need to run the maintenance cartridge because the tips have to be cleaned every few days if this hasn't been done. So you can't have the CatGenie without this product! Thanks for making it:) Don't know what I'd do without it!!
I did notice though that after using it the 4 times it still has some cleaning fluid left in it. Is this supposed to happen? I tried using it one last time & it wouldn't work. I forgot to document on the cartridge how many times I had used it and when I tried to run it the last time, since it still had some left in it, I thought that I had only used it 3 times. But since my catgenie wouldn't do the maintenance cleaning, I assume that it must not have enough in it for one last cleaning. This is the only thing I can think of as to why it wouldn't do the cleaning since all my regular cleanings it works ok.(Posted on 1/26/12)

Price Value Quality We've had the CatGenie for a couple years with four cats, so we go through a lot of maintenance cycles. However, I've had two cartridges that did not work at all. One was not sensed by the unit, and the other didn't dispense any solution. The powder solution, while a bit more time consuming cleans better and works EVERY time.

Price Value Quality This product works very well. Priced a bit high but then compared to the kitty litter bags and cleaning supplies I would have to pay for when using a regular cat litter box....this product works very well and takes most of the chore away from me...except the annual cleaning I do to the cat genie. All in all a great product!
Just a thought.....It would be so great if given an option to buy like 3 cartridges at once or more. Hopefully, Cat Genie company will consider this. Thanks again Cat Genie! :)(Posted on 9/21/11)

Price Value Quality This is by far better than the mixture packets in my opinion! It is so care free and seems to work very well. I have now owned my cat genie for almost 2 years and have only cleaned it by hand once! I credit the low maintenance to this product and recommend every cat genie owner purchase it!!

We are so glad you like it. However, a simple 15-minute cleaning of the base and hopper outside with a hose if possible 1x to 2x a year is still a recommended.(Posted on 8/8/11)

Price Value Quality Cat Genie is such an ingenious product that you want to be able to take care of it and keep it in good working condition. The use of this product is very easy, Cannot say anything negative about the price as it maintains the value and quality of Cat Genie's life.
I just love this whole system and I upgraded from the first Cat Genie to the present one. It's more stable and went beyond what I was expecting in the upgrade. I tell everyone with cats about it.(Posted on 8/5/11)

Value Quality Price Like earlier reviewers, it removes the need to hand clean the genie. I have hard water but run it with every cartridge change and never have odor issues or worse, clogs.

Value Quality Price This is the greatest invention ever. I am so glad that I no longer need to take my cat genie apart and clean it. Kitty is glad too. She doesn't like change and anytime I would take it outside to clean it she would freak out. So finally, the cat genie can truely take care of itself and I don't have to do anything! The whole reason I bought one!

Value Quality Price After the first few years of cleaning the Cat Genie every six months I was starting to pray for something easier. Then Cat Genie decided for me and made this amazing maintenance package. It is simple and I notice that I do not have to clean my Cat Genie ever! Thank you guys for always coming up with something to make this piece of equipment even better!

Value Quality Price I LOVE the maintenance cartridge!! With my old 60 unit I would frequently have problems with clogs, which was really gross to clean out. Since I upgraded to the 120, I love that I can just run a maintenance cartridge cycle every 2-3 months, and I haven't had a single clog problem!!
