These maintenance packets work great and aren't that hard to use. Love my Cat Genie and so does my kitty.... :)

These packets are a bit more time consuming, but clean much better than the maintenance cartridges. I wish they were in stock more often!! Every time I check lately they are out of stock.

For those that own the new cat genie, I would not recommend this product. It does do the job, however it is way more of a hassle than what it is worth. It requires the owner to own a large bucket and fill the bucket with hot water and mix by hand.... as well as many other time consuming steps! I would always rather purchase the 120 cartridge because I think it does a better job of cleaning, and it is hassle free!

I'd never had any trouble with my catgenie, but the normal wash cycles didn't seem to remove all traces of waste. I ordered these packets and was amazed as how easy they were to use and how well they worked. Not even a faint scent remained after the cleaning.

This product worked great. With two cats, the cat genie starts smelling a bit when drying. We added the maintenance pack, and it smells much better. Great!
